FCSS organized a five-day Training of Trainers (ToT) around the On-Site Operations Coordination Center (OSOCC) concept in Neuhausen, Germany in close collaboration with the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism and the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW).
The ToT started on Monday 23 until Friday 28 August and focused on familiarization with the new OSOCC training package recently redesigned following the update of the OSOCC guidelines. The course explored a range of options for course implementation and adapting the course package for different training audiences, in particular experienced trainers in the Union Civil Protection Mechanism and the UNDAC network.

The overall result will be to consolidate a community of course providers who will lead the OSOCC Operations training portfolio across the regions and ensure harmonisation within the networks that OCHA and the EU support.
